I need the folder "stats" in one web for something else and would like to completely disable the statistics by ISPConfig in the Panel without uninstalling Webalizer completely.
As a workaround, in web_domain table, I think you can set in column "stats_type" for a selected web, the value "none" to avoid stats calculation.
Maybe the solution could fix a "enabled" value to activate/deactivate stats, just setting this value to the site... I think this should be easy to implement.
I'd like awstats to be the default program for statistics. So I edited interface/web/sites/form/web_domain.tform.php and changed 'default' to 'awstats' like this :
I would also find this really useful - I'm finding that webalizer (I believe its webalizer anyway) is sending a hell of a lot of email under the www-data alias. Turning stats off would fix this as I don't use them.
Maybe something is wrong with config somewhere, please search for an answer on howtoforge.com forums. It's probably on there already, if not start a new thread.
I also like this possible new feature to disable the statistics for the whole server and/or for each website an option to disable the statistics.
Because i use Piwik statistics for every website, so the default logger cost me only cpu usage..
Voting for this. I don't need stats for any of the sites and enabling that by default for every new website is quite unnecessary, considering that /stats dir is owned by root.
Is this task coming in the upcoming version? I see it is unconfirmed for a long time.

This feature could be very useful (also for minimizing the system resources)
